Love is the theme for this evening with the words of, amongst others, John Betjeman, Shakespeare,  Dylan Thomas and Rabbie Burns.

This is a FREE event but booking is essential.

We will be having a collection in aid of Woking and Sam Beare Hospice on the evening and we also have a fundraising page so if you would like to make a donation with your booking, you can do so via our JustGiving DONATION PAGE

Description

Presented together with Chobham’s Snug Poetry group, Love… Mostly was inspired by one of its members, Richard Smithson.
Richard, well known to many in the village, is a lifelong poetry lover and has contributed to inspiring the next generation to enjoy poems, co-adjudicating at St Lawrence Primary School’s annual poetry competition for which he donated a Cup.
The evening will be a mix of recitation and reading by group members.
Enjoy the words of Shakespeare, John Betjeman, Thomas Hardy, Dylan Thomas,
Rabbie Burns (of course) and many others …. and a glass of wine as you arrive.


Event Venue: St Lawrence Church Hall (next to the church), High Street Chobham GU24 8AA
Parking: there is parking at the village car park, a short walk away. Situated behind the Chobham Rider Shop, Chobham High Street, GU24 8LZ
The nearest railway station is Woking, four miles away. Evening transport to Chobham is by taxi only.
