Description

We welcome for the first time at Chobham Festival, the Peter Rudeforth Jazz Band formed from the very finest New Orleans, Dixieland and Swing musicians on the scene today.

With guest vocalist is Alisa Lands.

Trumpeter Peter Rudeforth has long been a mainstay of the London jazz scene, playing with the Pasadena Roof Orchestra, Palm Court Theatre Orchestra, Temperance Seven, Charleston Chasers and the Piccadilly Dance Orchestra at The Savoy. He was a member of Kenny Ball and his Jazzmen, then of the legendary Chris Barber Band, stepping into the shoes of the great Pat Halcox, and played many times with Acker Bilk and his Paramount Jazz Band.

The bar opens at 7pm, dancing from 7.30pm.
