CARLA’S FAVOURITE THINGS
Carla Scarano Art
My artwork ranges in a variety of media, from oil painting to tempera, watercolours, acrylics, crochet and mixed media. It is mainly figurative, though some of my pieces can be abstract. I work on objects, still life and landscapes. Impressionistic view merges with a surrealist vision in my work and a poetic interpretation of reality.

GORDON’S SCHOOL

Work on display will be from several year groups, including work from GCSE and A level Art and Photography students. There will be a range of genres on display, from landscapes, portraiture, architecture and still life. Also on display will be a collaborative piece by students from our Painting club, which was part of the Centrepiece exhibition in the Lightbox Gallery, Woking, over the Summer. This was created in response to the artist John Rattenbury-Skeaping and his piece ‘Star Turn’. Alongside canvases and frames will be sketchbooks to show the creative processes our students go through in order to create their exciting outcomes.

OLIVER JONES JEWELLERY

Oliver’s jewellery is bespoke with a distinctly handmade touch that cannot be found on the high street, perfect for any occasion and allowing you to continue living a life of adventure. All pieces are handmade at my studio here in Chobham, Surrey. After making jewellery for family and friends including my wife’s engagement ring, I took the entrepreneurial plunge and launched in late 2017. Using a range of traditional silversmithing skills, I combine a unique use of textures and surfaces to create tactile, wearable pieces.
