The Chobham Flower Festival 2010 will take place over three days – October 1st to 3rd. St. Lawrence Church will be filled with magnificent displays of flowers, created by members of the many Chobham village clubs, societies, schools and other local churches, as well as the St. Lawrence regular flower rota. The theme for this year's Flower Festival will be 'Anniversaries'.
The popular Festival Café will be open all three days of the Flower Festival and will provide coffee, delicious light lunches and teas. The well known group Sounds Easy (sax, guitar and double bass) will be back on the Saturday to create a relaxing musical atmosphere in the Café and the Chobham Morris Dancers will also be performing on the same day outside the Church. Complementing the large number of flower displays, the Chobham Art Group will be exhibiting some paintings in the Church Hall throughout the weekend and when you've admired the flowers and the paintings, please don't forget to cross the road to the Chobham Museum which will be celebrating its Tenth Anniversary with a special Exhibition. The St. Lawrence Chobham Handbell Ringers will be featured as usual in the rousing Songs of Praise which brings the Festival to a joyous conclusion
