We are delighted to welcome back to Chobham the Friary Guildford Brass Band in a programme of well known music associated with Theatre and Cinema. This popular Guildford Band, originally formed in 1983, has enjoyed an excellent run of success in brass band competitions, most recently being crowned the 2010 National First Section Champions. Never before has a band from the London & Southern Counties region won the coveted First Section ‘Nationals’ title. Their concert this evening will be a thrilling experience for all brass band enthusiasts, especially after their triumph last year.
