Chobham Festival 2009

The sixteenth Chobham Festival will take place between September 26th and October 5th 2008.

The Festival will open with the popular Jazz Supper on Saturday September 26th and closes on Sunday October 4th with Songs of Praise in St Lawrence Church.

As usual there is a strong mixture of events, with music in both classical and lighter vein.

Festival Café

Sounds Easy
Musical entertainment on October 4th will be provided by the well known local group 'Sounds Easy' (sax, guitar and double bass). The trio's repertoire extends from classic songs from the shows, through Latin American to modern, played with a smooth jazz flavour.


Piano Recital by Candlelight


The musicianship and elegance of the four award-winning harpists that form '4 Girls 4 Harps' has captivated audiences around the world. The four attractive girls present entertaining programmes featuring music ranging from Handel, Saint-Saë and Ravel to Gershwin and music in a lighter vein. The amazing sound produced by this unique quartet is certain to produce a magical musical evening in Chobham Church.

Workshops in Schools
