Chobham Festival celebrates music… and more

Chobham Festival 2018

The Surrey village church of St Lawrence is at the heart of Chobham Festival, providing a beautiful setting for the festival’s two centrepiece classical concerts, which bring outstanding music and musicians to Chobham.

Our finale Festival Concert is Joyfually Choral an evening of well-loved works by Handel, Bach and Purcell with the Festival Choir conduced by Surrey tenor Roy Rashbrook.

Making their festival debut, at our music by candlelight concert this year are three bright new stars of the musical scene who together form the Carneval String Trio.

At Chobham Festival 2018, our ever popular Vintage Jazz evening has a female touch; the ChobLit book event puts the spotlight on children’s author Arthur Ransome; a party night has the fabulous Planet Abba on stage; a new event is a delightful family theatre production. And on the fringe, Chobham local, The Red Lion, is holding a Blues Brothers music night, while Italian restaurant Perla Antica welcomes Teddington Ukulele – you dine, they strum

Harvest, Hymns, a Schools Prom and Art also feature.
